Give me a break, Part 2

Living Japan is great for many reasons, but in large part due to the variety of confectionery products available exclusively here.

The bounteous variety of Kit Kat, to take just one brand-name line, includes:
  • Milk chocolate

  • White chocolate

  • Green tea chocolate

  • Passionfruit chocolate

  • Cafe Latte chocolate

My favorites of these are the green tea and cafe latte ones. The passionfruit, meh, not so good.

One reason Kit Kat may be more popular here is that the words Kit Kat in Japanese sound like "kitto katto" or "sure victory," so students snap up the bars around exam time hoping to enter the most prestigious high schools and universities.

The green tea variety sure is tasty. I noticed that the British have a penchant for orange Kit Kats.

Orange Kit Kats? I have never heard of such a thing!
